          Sat - 5K - 34:47. I am really hurting.

            Thanks and it's good to be back.  Hard to believe I increased my miles so much, from 18.5 the week before, while running a 5k PR Friday night!

             

            Monday...............weights & abs........................................................................................done

            Tuesday..............group run: 4-5 miles.............................................................................done-5.9 mi.

            Wednesday........same..................................................................................done-hill repeats-5.8 mi.

            Thursday.............same........................................................................................................done-3.4 mi.

            Friday..................solo run-same distance..........................................................done-5.1 with my RP

            Saturday........some easy miles & another 5k evening race, this time in El Paso.....done-5.2 mi.

            Sunday...............long run-11 miles.....................................mostly done up up up & back down-9.2 mi.

             

            Total....................think I may come up a little short..................................................as predicted-34.7

                Fri       recovery shopping trip - not very fruitful and had to wait 3 hours for the return ferry. As usual, there was low inventory in my size; but I came home and spent $40 online to buy Nike shorts I saw at Nordstroms. Hope I like 'em.
