My mileage has been fairly steady this year and I'm happy about that. 183.7 in July, the second highest month this year.

it's called "trail porn"

284 miles for July, I know it's not a lot, but I only

ran 21 times in the entire month. June

was much better, at 373 miles, but I felt

tired, so in a way July was a cutback month.

also, I raced, tapered and recovered in July.

one race was a hilly 5 miler, where I knew

I did not break 30min, but the initial results

indicated that I did. oh well, it was nice while

it lasted. they corrected the mistake later.

another race was a 100km hike in Vermont,

which I completed in 13 hrs 41min. I ran

all the more or less runnable parts, but

there were many trails and hills that I just

could not run, so I walked

I was getting ready to start the August miles thread and realized I never posted the July awards! Sorry about that. Here they are:

July Awards:

Most miles: Aamos (411 miles). 2nd place: Alexander R (284 miles). 3rd place: Mike E (281 miles).

Fewest miles: Cecil59 (0 miles) - good luck with the stress fracture and the prostate cancer, Cecil. 2nd place: BTY (43 miles). 3rd place: Tetsujin (43.5 miles).
