WEEKLY RUNNING AND X-TRAINING w/e 12/23 (Read 235 times)

    Dutchie - 45 minutes running, 30 min aerobicing, 34 min strength training

     

    Shadowrunner - 1 hr 40 mins of Core exercises; 1 hr 40 mins free weights; 9.2 miles walk/run.

     

    Evanflein -

     

    Tom1961 - Lifting and dog walking (but is he lifting the dogs?  THAT'S the real question.)

      Gooood Morning all,

       

      First week went pretty well.

       

      Mon: 30min aerobic tabata w/o - DONE!

      Tue: 3K run/walk - DONE! 21:18 Less walking, more running Wink

      Wed: out of town for work, doubt I'll get any exercise in.

      Thu: 3K run/walk

      Fri: strength training - Did yesterday's 3K run/walk instead.

      Sat: school, probably only a doggie walk

      Sun: 4K run/walk - Too busy with all that Xmas stuff. I'll catch up tomorrow. Should've known and made a different planning.

       

      Have a great week and some excellent running Big grin

          • AM: 20 mins core excercises - 2(50) Push-ups; 2(50) crunches, 3 sets of abds - bicycle, reverse, side; 3 sets of leg lifts/stretches/squats

          TUES -

          • AM: 20 mins core excercises - 3(10) Pull-ups; 2(50) crunches, 3 sets of abds - bicycle, reverse, side; 3 sets of leg lifts/stretches/squats 
          • PM: walk/run [3*(2 min walk + 8 min run] - total 3.7 miles; 20 mins of UB free weights post run - chest, arms, back.

          WED -

          • AM: 20 mins core excercises - 2(50) Push-ups; 2(50) crunches, 3 sets of abds - bicycle, reverse, side; 3 sets of leg lifts/stretches/squats.
          • PM: 50 mins of UB free-weights, circuit weight machines, core excercises [4(50) inclined crunches, 4(40) push-ups] chest, arms, shoulders,back.

          THUR -

          • AM: 20 mins core excercises - 3(10) Pull-ups; 2(50) crunches, 3 sets of abds - bicycle, reverse, side; 3 sets of leg lifts/stretches/squats
          • PM - walk run 3*[10 min run + 2 min walk] total of 4.2 miles. 41F overcast and cloudy

          FRI -

          • AM: 20 mins core excercises - 2(50) Push-ups; 2(50) crunches, 3 sets of abds - bicycle, reverse, side; 3 sets of leg lifts/stretches/squats - planned

          SAT - AM Walk run planned 3*[12 min run + 2 min walk] done.

          SUN - Volunteering at Winter Series. Big grin

           

          TOTAL: 12.4 miles; 80 mins of Free-weights, 100 mins of core: 420 push-ups, 500 crunches, 450 legs lifts, 15 sets of abds.

            So Leslie always gets the prior week tallied and posted the weeks I sort of fall off the program and don't finish. I see how this works.

             

            Ok, so I did run 28.3 miles last week and walked over 7. But the plan was to run 12 on Sunday and hit 40 for the week, but that didn't happen. I spent most of Sunday (and most of Monday) trying to finish up a big project for work and it just took fooooorrrrreeeeverrrrrrrrr. Bleh. Done now though, on to the next.

             

            Haven't run since Saturday the 15th. You'd think I was working on a reverse streak or something!

             

            Monday: Rest day (resting from what, I don't know)

            Tuesday: Sloth day... er, rest day

            Wednesday: 2.3 miles (20:30) elliptical, 10 minutes abs/core, .4 mile walk

            Thursday: 8.1 miles with half mile repeats, then qtr milers, .8 mile walk

            Friday: 5.4 miles "hill" workout on the TM, .8 mile walk

            Saturday: What? another rest day? (yep)

            Sunday: 10.6 mile "long run" and .8 mile walk

             

            Totals: 2.3 miles elliptical, 24.1 miles run, 2.8 miles walked and one ab/core workout Roll eyes and 3 Rest Days!

              Same here! Trying to rejoin the madness once again... though considering I'm just playing things by ear lately, I'm finding myself only planning one or two days in advance. But at least it's something.
