C'mon you know you want to join us... BTY-23.5 miles-When does biscuit tossing start?? Dark Horse- 18 miles+600 situps,pushups and benchdips...very nice work DH evryday-24 miles for a stepback... Ileneforward-40.6...inc half marathon... janie b good-10 miles...hard to go out in the cold... 1 mile on the treadmill, stretching, 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 bench dips, hip exercises, 30 lat pulldowns, 30 dumbell curls each arm, 30 squats, 30 leg curls, 100 wrist curls with light barbell
Wednesday -
5 miles on the treadmill
Thursday -
5 miles on the treadmill
Friday -

17.8 last week. Thank you Gordon. Saturday I DNS at the race and did not run Sunday either. We'll see how this week goes. One of last Saturday's RDs caleed me yesterday cause I don't miss races I sign up for. If I'm free Friday AM, I can help plot the course for the Big Foot Boogie snow shoe race and the RD will cover my entry fees. We'll see how it goes.

Hi Ldr. Have been procrastinating about strength training, which is the first step. I will have to start, so I can begin procrastinating about biscuit tossing. Sunday.................rest Monday................5.1 miles easy running (done) Tuesday...............4.5 miles easy running (done) Wednesday...........4.5 miles easy running (5 done) Thursday..............rest Friday..................5 miles easy running (done) Saturday..............We'll see (6 miles easy including .5 miles @ tempo) Plan...........19.1 miles plus Saturday Execution....25.6 miles. Highest weekly total since March '07

You are right lyndenrunner..I want to come join in! The daily posts overwhelm me! Working at getting my mileage back up! Monday - 2 miles with daughter Tuesday - 4 icy snow covered miles in the Yak tracks Weds... 8 slow miles in the cold morning air Thurs...3 treadmill Friday.. 6 running +3 brisk walking 9 total Sat.. 2 miles then bowling ( where I managed to pull a muscle and can barely move!) Sun...2 mile walk as my leg is killing me!!! Who knew bowling would be so dangerous??? 30 miles total

Feels good to feel good. Sunday- yoga class Monday-2 mi TM, 30 min ET Tues-strength training class, core/ball class Wed flying to Tampa, off line for a week Summary-Enjoying the gift

Hey Gordon, sorry I missed this thread this week! I'll play catchup though, because this has actually been my best cross training week in ages! Monday: Post marathon hike/run/jog from Avalon to the East Summit of Catalina Island. 8 miles total, most at 10% grade. Tuesday: 3 miles walk/jog at recovery pace around Avalon (no hills today) Wednesday: Walking (about 2 miles), in-room workout (lunges, pushups, crunches, planks, stretching) Thursday: 4.5 miles walking, 20 minutes in-room workout (squats, planks, other stuff) Friday: 1 mile walking, 5.25 miles running at EZ pace w/some striders last mile Saturday: 7.5 miles running w/4@MP, .75 mile walking, 20 mins upper body weights Sunday:
