Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thank you, Holly!

Congrats to YOU, Mike! Great job at the Senior Games! A while back, I said I'd go out to cheer for you, but I ended up signing up for this half without realizing the conflict in dates. Sorry!
The half today was very encouraging for me. No taper, and I was still able to PR. I've been following the Hanson's Marathon plan for the upcoming Twin Cities Marathon (based largely on your positive comments about Hansons), and it really seems to have helped out with my speed. Thanks!
SubDood, congratulations on the PR!

63 with a 16 mile hill/trail run on Monday. Tempo on Thursday and 1500 m Senior Games today. Treading that line of working through the Senior Games but not going in tired for 10 miles of racing in 4 days.
4:59.0 for 1500 m, State games record. Two more to go on Monday 5K and Wednesday 10K.
Sweet!
