We went to see the Dr. at Duke who is the Breast Cancer Metasticize specialist. Her take was different from current Dr. She feels chemo isn't need yet....there are other things to use. She is trying to get me into a study for a vaccine given through my port which more or less boost the immune system to fight the cancer. Evidentially it has shown to promise. I'll do that for 10 treatments and then scan. If she's not please with that we will go to Zeloda which is an oral chemo...keep my hair! I really feel this is the best thing to do for me right now. I may get radiation to my lower back to help with the pain....may even be able to start running again!! All I can say is PRAISE GOD!!! I truly believe our prayers have been answered. Thanks for sending on the good news. Sounds like your drs are top notch. Now you can keep up your terrific warm headed outdoor exercise. Looking forward to update on GD. Have a wonderful Christmas. Sue

Donna, whenever I'm feeling down in the dumps about something, I think of people like you who are facing such serious health issues with a positive attitude and a good outlook for the next treatment and options. You are truly an inspiration to us here and thank you so much for keeping us up to date, and grounded in what really matters.
