Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Hope your back issues are resolving. I had a flare-up last week, hence my absence from the thread. Backing off the running last week sure helped my recovery. Still not 100% but certainly much better.

                What is a loppet?

A "loppet" is an endurance cross-country ski event in which under-trained participants get soundly beaten by 67-year-old men and 14-year-old girls.

                Hypothetically.

Not my favorite week, all on treadmill. Normally,

I would try to get out at least once, but, well.

The highlight of the week was

                    watching the Marathon Trials yesterday

                    Mon 9 mi (1:15) treadmill

                    Tue 10 mi (1:24) treadmill

                    Wed 8 mi (0:59) treadmill

                    Thu 8 mi (0:57) treadmill

                    Fri 7 mi (0:58) treadmill

                    Sat 11 mi (1:32) treadmill

                    Sun 10 mi (1:26) treadmill
