Cecil - You've been one my inspirations for improving. If an old guy can run that fast there's hope I can get faster. Sending positive thoughts your way.
December - 163 (well 162.5 rounds up right?) miles
2014 - 2179 (.3 rounds down ;-()
Highlights
BQ'd in December. Over 50 PR's in 5K, 10K, 1/2 and full marathons. (1/2 and full are all time PRs as well).
2015 Goals - Keep improving. More miles then 2014.
Thanks Carolyn!

Runners run
an amazing likeness
December - 170 miles and final for 2014 was 2,204 mi.
Some running goals I arbitrarily set for 2014 were:
Came close in February's only attempt at the 10mi; missed PR by 27 seconds. Nailed 5k in May with a 21:41. Ran 7 HM's en route to chasing that HM PR, but couldn't get close due to nagging leg injuries from Sept onward. Same injury problems also meant no marathon. Unplanned, but did run a 5 mi PR of 36:14. All-in-all, I grade the running year a solid B-.
Tried to get a few new running experiences throughout the year, which included running some 5Ks and joining the folks here in the Reach-the-Beach relay -- these all were good.
As they say, pay attention to the trendlines, not the headlines....lots of easy miles...unfocused...need to change.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Sorry I'm so late! I don't know exactly how many miles I ran in December but it was a step up from November. My graph looks like about 115. It wasn't my best running year but I made some new running friends in Las Cruces, and that has made all the difference! Started the year with a 5k PR of 24:38 (3/26 AG). Ran 1784 miles or about 309 hours. My goal was 2014 miles but a foot injury kept that from happening. I won my AG in three races, a 10k in Oklahoma City, then after to moving to Las Cruces in August, a 5k here and a 10k in Alamogordo, about an hour away. Hungry for another PR in 2015!

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
Thanks Carolyn-you're awesome & magnificent, not me!
You know, I've never noticed the summaries at the end - see what happens when you miss a month...
The prime number was a complete accident and more to do with injuries and oddness then design. As far as being an engineer, started out as a Chem E major and switched to Computer Science. No degree yet, but there's always hope...
