Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

MTA: 47.4 with some dead Sunday legs.
Raced Indoor track meet and had PRs in 3000, 400 and 200 with 1AG's in each. I'm liking the short stuff.

Just a dude.
Thanks again!
I think I will try to do last week all over again, minus the med issues.

Happy to be running again, if only on the treadmill. Piriformis Syndrome, anyone?
Latent Runner
Starting yet another week with no plan; gotta protect my wrist so I'm going to take the miles as they come.

First time back in the cemetery since I fell; yeah, gettin' back on that horse was a bit nervous. I ran until it started getting slippery and bailed before what would have been my final 1.7 mile lap.
10 miles
Wow, what a difference a good thaw followed by a good sub-freezing cold snap makes on the trail. On Sunday the only way to run on the snowmobile trail was with snowshoes, today it was nice and firm.
8 miles
Another cold night on the trail, as with yesterday it was nice and firm and crunchy.
Three nights in a row on my favorite trail; I like it muy much!
4 miles
Dropped the car off for new tires and ran to the office; against my better judgment, I let a co-worker bring me back to the dealership so I only got four miles today.
17.8 miles
I did the 17 mile snowmobile trail run I've occasionally done, but this time I wanted to see what was just around the next bend (more snowy trail; surprise!).
6.7 miles
Had to catch a plane to North Carolina before the weather further south got too bad (changed planes in Philadelphia), so I had to cut my trail run short. Kind of a bummer, but hey, when I got to Greensboro it was 70°F; looking forward to running in shorts for the next five days.

Fat old man PRs:
Not this week. Should finally be up to >40 by next week though.

Taking a break this week and won't run much. Thanks and maybe I'll be back next week or the week after.
