2013 goals 1500 1000 miles , 190 pounds get to 100 miles a month or more and stay there
I guess I kind of fell off the planet last week.... Oops. Too bad, too, because I had a pretty good week with over 35 mikes run, over 5 miles on the elliptical and two good weight workouts. On to a new week, right??
I hope you feel better soon, Gordon. It seems like so many people have been sick this winter with some form of the crud.
Monday: 3.4 miles EZ run, .5 mile walk
Tuesday: 5.5 mile progressive pace run, .5 mile walk
Wednesday: 8.2 miles w/ intervals (6 x .5 mile @ 8:00, then 2 x .25 mile @ 7:30), .7 mile walk
Thursday: 5.3 miles GA, .5 mile walk, some snow shoveling when I got home
Friday: 4.1 miles mostly EZ, .8 mile walk
Saturday: 7.4 hilly miles, .5 mile walk, and snow shoveling before my run
Sunday: 8.1 miles on tired legs, .3 mile walk c/d
Totals: 42.1 miles run, 3.3 miles walked, plus snow shoveling XT
Good morning all, and thank you Gordon, for setting us up once again.
Mon: 5K Run/Walk + Strength UB - DONE! Keeping my HR @ 150 max is a real pain. In the end what I did was run 90 sec / walk 45 sec. That way I managed to keep my HRavg @ 149. But I didn't know that till I finished of course , which BTW took forever, I've never done a 5K this slow, a full 40 minutes I had the day off, so later that afternoon I worked my Chest, Back and Shoulders. After dinner, I did my own core mix.
Tue: Strength LB - DONE! Did Cardio Leg Blast, alternating traditional exercises with cardio.
Wed: 5K Run/Walk + Strength UB - Run is in the bag! This run/walking thing makes me feel like I haven't done any running yet. I was slower than Monday, ah well, at least I mad an effort.
Thu: Boxing - DONE! Nice!
Fri: 5K Run/Walk + Strength LB - DONE! My butt hurts (in a good way). Wanted to do the run after work, but my quads were sore from the biking. Oh who am I kidding, I never run after work.
Sat: Cardio HiiT - did the short version (20 minutes), but it still counts
Sun: 5K Run/Walk - DONE! Was a slow but very nice run. Wasn't frustrated with the whole run/walk thing today. Actually, it felt easy and fun.
