Marathon Maniac #957
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Here’s what I have for last week’s tally. Sorry so late - I totally forgot!

Nice to have those workouts to re-use. Some of them sound like fun.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks, Holly. Here's my plan--maybe the last 40+ mile week for a while since I'll be tapering for CIM.

I'll need a free pass this week. My doctor doesn't know what's causing my headaches but has scheduled a CAT scan of my head for Monday. In the meantime, think I'll do a little running but don't have a plan.

All the best Opie.
I'm in for this again and will be looking to push the envelope this weekend (as I only have 18 or so currently)
MTA: Had to run 11 this morning and HTFU and made it a HM instead. Albeit very slow.

40 miles and change this week. But what I am most pleased about is that I had my longest run since April 3rd, 2011 today.
