Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I got the shingles vaccine on April 8th, and my running took an immediate plunge with sore leg muscles and joints and over-all weakness, and has not returned yet after 3+ weeks. I had to skip all planned races except for one leg of a 100K relay race.

(really, I did not do anything funky to hit 199, it just happened!)

Thanks wild!  Sorry--no prime number this month...I went for a Friedman number, instead.  I did one race...a marathon...and was 1st in AG.
