Marathon Maniac #957

For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run or aspire to run 40 miles/week. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard... Here's the tally from last week. I love reading about all your runs, but just have no time to comment this week. Great job, though, everyone! Welcome back, Jules2!

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Had a tough fall this weekend. I will be running a little less. This weekend's 50k is for fun. I will be running it with a friend and try to find our way through it before dark. It can take awhile. I am sure we will run extra miles. You expect to get lost at this one. Monday - 5.10 Tuesday - Rest Wednesday - Rest, knee is still bothering me. Thursday - 7.55, knee bothers me just a little bit. Friday - 5.10 Saturday - Sunday - 40.00 "Dude, Where's the Trail" 50k Got lost a lot. Total Miles - 57.75 TomD

I guess Pfitz didn't have me running Mon and Fri, so that make up for the missed miles.
