Would somebody, please, tell enke how to post photos from Flickr so she can continue...that would be great!

    an amazing likeness

If someone can tell me how to post photos from flickr......that would be great!  I'll continue after I figure that out!

      Flickr makes it really hard

      1. Go to your photo in flickr

      2. Click the arrow which bends up and to the right in the tools in the lower right

      3. You'll get a dialog box titled "Share 1 Photo to:" -- select the HTML EMBED option

      4. Pick the size from the drop down (something like 600x800 is good)

      5. Ok....now for the crappy part...in the middle of that long string of html is what you need  - find the img src tag (I can't post an example here because your web browser will read the code and try to execute it)  It will look like this:

      img src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5010/5328440001_83ed49b6a5.jpg

You need the section from https:  to .jpg (or png)

      https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5010/5328440001_80268425ac_o.png

Then use it here on RA using the mountain icon (left of the smiley face) in the top toolbar, paste that string you have https://-to-.jpg into the Source in the RA picture dialog.

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

Thanks Milktruck - the crappy part 5. is where I got messed up.  I'll have to go find a mouse to do this, as I have trouble highlighting text to copy with just my touchscreen........stay tuned....

I hate that crappy part 5!

Thanks for the instructions for posting!  I made several saves so I wouldn't lose my work....so I updated my report several times...please go back and read if you think you might have not seen my final copy.
