SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Just a dude.
Dunno if I will make it this week or not. Will have to see if my knee responds. /sigh...
Ended up with 58.5 miles for the week... Knee is holding together but it isn't quite right yet.
Ran a 1 mile race on the track Friday, ended up 1st over all against mostly Jr. High and younger kids. Time was 5:35, so not a bad start.
I'll get back to regular posting next week...
Thanks!

Everything hurts and borderline injured.
I'm tired. Next week is going to be a huge cut back.
46 with a track mile (5:10.6, age grades to 4:18) on Thursday and a 6 mile trail run/tempo on Saturday. Transition now from faster training and races to more distance and hills. But before I do that I'll take an easy cutback week for recovery.
