Run the day, or the day runs you.

Goals for the week with little clue as to which will actually happen on which day Running: 2 EZ; 3 EZ; 5 tempo; 7 s-l-o-w; 17 total (maybe 18 for missed mile last week) Strength: 2x Monday - tried for 5 tempo but stomach upset made it 2 EZ Tuesday - 5M tempo run; ugly, but got it done; too hot & too much pollen! Wednesday - at work until at least 8:00 p.m., so . . . . rest day for me Thursday - heart & mind said "run;" body said "SLEEP!!!" Friday - ran 3.8 EZ - highest miles/month ever! whoo hoo! Saturday - ran 7.2 (extra 0.2 to make up for not doing 4 even yesterday); slow and steady and feeling good Smile time for some serious stretching now Sunday - lots o' stretching and weights on the stability ball If I did the math right - no guarantee there - that's 18 miles for the week and (finally!) some cross-training!
