November Masters Miles (Read 35 times)

Carolyn

The months sure pass quickly, don't they?  Time for another masters monthly mileage thread!  I don't think I've even done awards for October yet...

Anyway, time to post your miles, PRs, AG awards, fun times, and other useless trivia!  Pictures welcome, too!  Awards given for most miles, fewest miles, average, median, prime numbers, and cool totals.

Here's a picture from my 20 mile thanksgiving day run in Sedona, AZ:

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

    MM #7877

Thank You for keeping this going Wildchild.

      Miles - 186.9 miles.

      Marathons - 1 - Marshall University Marathon 3:38.

This was my lowest total for a month all year. And thats OK. 1 week was a reverse taper, missed a couple days for a biopsy. And started a new training plan that focuses on quality miles over quantity. So I am pleased with this month.

      Philippians 4:13.

        90 miles for Nov.

1013 miles for the year to date.

        Thanks wild,

        TomS

          Thanks again, Wildchild!

          129.2 primeless miles for Nov.

I finished the month with 2 5Ks in 3 days - didn't win a darned thing, but I had a blast at both races.

Without ice cream there would be darkness and chaos.

197 for the month, with 3 races (age group 1st, 3rd, 1st). I expected to acclimate to the altitude and get better with each race but the opposite happened. My 5K the other day was no faster than my 5K split in the 10K the other week. Stress, training, diet? So I ended the month kind of tired.

1890 for the year so far, so on pace to break 2000, but like last year it won't be by much.

            i'm lovin' it... MM#1949

                    2,216.3 YTD

No races, but had a week of nice running in Hawaii at the end of the month and glad to be back over 200 miles!

                    an amazing likeness

                      200 for November

                      2,037 YTD

No PRs or other award-worthy events. Made my annual goal of 2,014 miles; having that done without 12/31 looming is always a big relief...

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

117.7 Nov - primeless for me as well

                        1348.3 ytd

14 minute Marathon PR for me at Philly and overall felt better than any marathon I've run so far -- it was only my 5th tho ... unlike most of you Marathon Maniacs
