No more marathons
Went out for an easy 4 miles yesterday and as soon as I started I felt this pain in my abdomen. First thought was “oh no, hernia is acting up” – but wait – that’s only on one side. Damn Planks.

Unlike some of you overachievers, I felt no inclination to go way beyond the goal.......
30-second plank on each side and a 30-second forward plank.
(plus 100 stability ball crunches)
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
I did my plank and that's about all I'll be doing, today. I have got to get over this dang cold.
