Well, the response from the facility director was that use of the track is not available "on an individual basis." So, I guess groups can reserve it....meaning sneaking in and acting casual is probably possible.
Which mean this little old lady will not even dream of using that track!

Why is it sideways?
It's probably a liability thing -- they probably don't even know the liability policy but are giving the safe answer out of laziness/just in case. Doubt it has anything to do with being little, old, or a lady.
