A bunch of local runners will be racing the 5k at the Vandy meet on Friday night. You guys may not know all of these people, but I have heard that Scott Wietecha, Ted Towse, Ryan Chastain, and Ken Sullivan will all be racing. Me too. Probably everyone knows Scott, but Ted, Ryan, and Ken are all very good runners, too. It's a good chance to spectate, since most of the road 5ks they guys just run off and then come back some time later.

Running events start at 6pm, and the 5k will likely begin sometime after 7pm, depending on how fast the meet runs.

I'd come if I was there.  Kick ass!
