Hi! I didn't know about this. Website looks pretty sharp and it got good reviews last year on marathonguide.com. Maybe DH and I will head up for the half. Are you doing it?

Yep, I'm doing the full. I'm really excited about how organized it will be. The weather will be pleasant, Santa Rosa in the summer is very mild as it is.

Fortunately there's race-day packet pick-up so if this happens, we could just drive up early that morning. Would take a couple hours to get there but that's do-able. Hmmm. Will keep you posted....

We're in for the half! They had a booth at the SF Marathon expo so we signed up (and got a discount... Yay). I'll look for you there -- we'll have to figure out some way to identify ourselves! How's your training going?

So far, training is going great. I'm looking forward to blowing my old time out of the water.

I know I'll be picking up my bib number early, but when it gets closer I'll let you know what my "race outfit" will be so you can find me.

Alright, I figured out my race outfit. I'll be wearing a purple running skirt and black tank with the Lake County Milers logo on it (gotta represent, yo). I may wear my purple headband but I need to test it out on my 22 miler this weekend before I commit. When I pick up my race number on the weekend of the race, I will let you know what it is. Big grin

Fantastic. I just got some kelly green capris with white shamrocks on them, and I'm seriously considering wearing them. They might be too hot since I usually wear shorts, but may be okay since the race starts fairly early and I'm just doing the half... will decide closer to the day.

The weather is going to be superb. High of 73, likely not until well after the race, and a low of 49. I bet there will be fog.

Weather looks great, should be 50s when we're out there. If there's fog, even better. I'll probably be in green capris with shamrocks and white singlet, maybe sleeves. We'll be there early to pick up our bibs. Will look for you there!
