Faster Than Your Couch!

Stacey: I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your family will find the strength to get through this and keep the good memories.

7:30, group picture with the porter-potties, check. Big grin

I'll probably be wearing grey tights with teal stripes, and a teal long-sleeve shirt, maybe a green/white/black Wegmans shirt on top. And my lucky hat, the white cap with the teal stripes. Lime-green/grey hydration pack, too.

Hope to meet you all there!

    Run for fun.

Be safe everyone!  Tornado watch in effect for the whole region until 11:30pm.  See you all tomorrow.

Nice race report and congrats on a great performance...any thoughts on joining the crazies for the 50k next year?

              Its a possibility.

I have registered for the first running of "The Green Monster 50k" (7,000ft of climb)  this October ( http://www.greenmonster-trailchallenge.com/home Wink up in Wellsboro. If you like Hyner you'll love this course. Its a new race, but I think the 25k will eventually take off like Hyner. It has a great location and similar atmosphere, just on a smaller scale so far.

I did the 25k last fall. 4,000ft of climbing from 5 climbs. Less rocky than Hyner, and while the hills are not quite as long, it has more SOB-ish grade stuff, and some equally steep downhills. The downhills at Hyner were more gentle (minus the rocks). The top finish times for both races are also similar.

But yeah, Hyner 50 will be a possibility for next spring for sure.

Very cool...I had not checked out the "Green Monster" before...I do look for smaller events myself.  I'm no official greeter, but welcome!
