I think you can for a fee. I already have most of them anyway

see which plan you think might be better for me for charleston.

I may use some of the spinerval for building up/bike workouts- they are sending me emails with the workouts.

Both of the plans are very similar. I do like the way it is e-mailed daily. The most important thing is to pick a plan you will follow. That includes the 4 mile bike rides toward the end.

                  is that free?

I made a training peaks acct. and they are emailing me that spinerval base camp plan q day; is tyb doing a different plan?

I don't think registration is open yet though- I tried to register and it still had this year's date on the site.

The coaching is not free but is pretty reasonable.

Try Charleston registration is not open yet.

My training plan for charleston starts December 6 but should I try to keep my long runs at 10-13 miles since I've trained for the half marathon or should I back down on the running and follow what the plan calls for?

                      Lori

                      pschriver

As long as it doesn't impact your bike rides, I would keep your mileage up. Look at your total weekly mileage and try to keep it stable. On heavy bike weeks, you can drop the run slightly. Now that you have a Training Peaks account, you can look at the weekly TSS .

Does anyone use the spinerval DVDs  or sufferfest  while riding on the trainer? If so which are the best/ make for the best workout?

I use both. I prefer Spinervals but Sufferfest is good also. I don't like Sufferfest as much because they seem harder and I struggle with recovery after completing them. The Sufferfest/TrainerRoad combo, is a good way to make quick gains. http://www.trainerroad.com/

Looks like suffer fest/ trainer road is like downloadable videos- problem with that for me is that internet connection is too slow lol yes it sounds crazy.  So I need to order spinerval dvds. Should I go with the competition series?

The Spinervals I have are from the coaching series. The Threshold one is good and gives you a good indicator of your fitness. The aero-base builders are the best for now. The Vo2Max videos will be better early in the spring
