This ride is a little pricey but a nice ride with a great after party. The 80 mile has 3 brutal climbs. The 50 has 2 lesser climbs but is still a challenge. I don't know anything about the 15. Theresa and I will be doing the 50.
You guys rock. That sounds fantastic. I hope it is not as cold as last year.

Think I can finish my half marathon in time to start the ride??
Same day as Spinx run!

Peter, are you and Theresa doing this again this year? The 50 miler? $145, right? Tell me how great it is. Do you get a shirt? How great is the after party?
And about the Oyster Roast that evening. Theresa was telling me about that. Do they have other food besides oysters there?
You get a jersey with the long ride. The last few years it included a "Hincapie" private label bottle of wine. The food after is great. I'm just a little concerned I won't make it back in time to eat. The climbs are brutal.
I am pretty sure they had other food choices than oysters at the roast. I didn't really look that closely since I love oysters.
And don't forget the Hincapie warehouse sale. It's a perfect place to grab cheap arm warmers, knee warmers, skull caps gloves, socks ect. I plan to get another arm full this year. Tech clothing really makes a rider much more comfortable
How was the ride? Great day for it.
I had a great ride Saturday but it wasn't the fondo!
Sat. was a great day to ride. Weather was always threatening but kept things cool. T and I had a great ride with thousands of other people. Food, music and drinks at the end were nice. It would be great if we could show up as a team next year and escort a rider to a top finish. Kyle Danner who is an unofficial team member won the mens 50 mile outright.
