I know, right? Just how tall are they?! (Although I have met RabbitChaser, so I know he isn't super tall...)

6 feet, 3.5 inches tall (since you asked, sort of)
When I look at my goal weight, I feel fat too.

1. Stay healthy.
2. Keep the trail running fun.
That is about it.

I wouldn't even qualify as tall. LOL Unless you consider 5'7" tall.
Howdy folks its been awhile.
2014:

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

(I only dip in occasionally, but I post stuff whether I'm wanted or not ) PR goals in road races (mara & mile) Maybe find a 100mi that looks accessible enough for me to start considering. (That means NO MOUNTAINS OFF WHICH I WILL FALL AND DIE AT NIGHT, and preferably something super easy/wimpy like a canal trail.) And possibly quit diet soda again, but, not feeling much willpower there.
AP, you would be a welcome addition here!
Running is dumb.

1) Average 4.5 day a week of running.
2) Run to the little town of Washington from Nevada City via the Yuba river.
3) Run the Desolation Wilderness again, maybe with Chuair.
4) Hit some new trails for long runs, Sierra City, Downieville, the PCT, Graeagle.
5) Speed workouts at the track.
6) More Mt Biking with the Hubby
7) Add weight training into the routine (make a woman cave or join a gym?)
8) Stay under 125 and really cool if I got it under 120.

May I suggest salt flats or pony express as 100 milers that match your criteria?
Well, considering we're evaluating goals for next year, how did everyone do for this year?
I am going to quote myself from 2012 and hope that I achieve this in 2014: To run pain free. That's it.

I did do some pain free running this year -- the first in a long fucking time. That was huge. Ending my year with foot tendonitis is not a win. C'est la vie.
In 2013 I set some very specific goals. I realized I'm not really a goal oriented person. 2014 goals are a little broader. 1. Run more - I've run more than 2013, but less than 2012. 2. Eat healthier - Was doing great, but fell off the wagon 2 months ago. 3. Body weight starting with a 1 rather than a 2 - I got really close for a while, but see above. 4. Take advantage of all the awesomeness that surrounds me - Kind of. 5. Spend more time in Zion National Park - fail. colossal fail. 6. Enjoy life - moderate success.

I was fortunate to hit almost all of my 2013 goals, maybe because I'm not setting the bar high enough for 2014 1- run/finish the Zion Traverse in April- fractured my heel 2-get drawn for the Bridger Ridge Run and shave a full hour off of my last time (2012)-succeeded, over 1 hour off! 3-shave some time off two local 50k's that I competed in this year- first one heel still injured, second one I was too late when I went to register 4-run/finish the Volcanic 50k- didn't run this event 5- get a little faster- see 2&3 - a little faster

I suppose it's time to start thinking about these things. 1) Run a minimum of 4000 miles- I'll be just over 4000 for the year 2) Set at least 3 FKT's- Only managed 2 100 mile FKT's 3) Run 200 miles in one continuous push- 201.56 miles in 41 hours 4) Go sub 23 at Leadville- FAIL...24:42 5) Win an ultra- I won 3 Seems easy enough.

1. A strong finish at Hyner 50k. 2. Run a race longer then a 50k. 3. Reduce weight to 160 lbs. 4. Increase general overall fitness and strength.

1. Failed. Finished at back of pack and over allotted time frame to qualify for this year.
2. Failed. Didn't even try. Need to get the 50k distance under control first.
3. Failed. Miserably. Did lose some but not enough.
4. Here I got the Charlie Brown score. A solid D-. I got a little better, but not much.
Are we there, yet?
1) Run my first trail ultra at Ice Age 50K 2) Run my first 24-hour run at Dawn to Dusk to Dawn instead of NC 24 3) run sub-2:15 for a HM 4) run sub-5:00 for a marathon

2) Had to bail before the 24 hours was up at both races
3) Fail, ran 2:21:30
4) didn't race a marathon, just a couple as long supported training runs
