I was wondering about the cotton shirt. I saw a few of the irunfar photo's of her during the race. Pretty funny how barfing can sometimes improve your day.

Thanks for sharing the link John.
Pam is certainly "bucking the trend" in a few areas: the cotton shirt, back to eating meat, carbo loading at the end of the day. Pretty cool stuff. My favorite line is "I would definitely tell you that running a 100 in under 20 hours is easier than finishing in close to 30!"

Very Cool. She seems like a real down to earth person. Thanks for the link.

Lately I've been running in a shirt that while I don't know what the actual blend of material is, it seems to have some cotton because it holds moisture so well. I can tell a big difference in that it keeps me cooler then the wicking tech shirts that I have. I was going to start a thread about it but don't really have the time to keep up with the discussion.
I loved following her race live -- a great WS champion
Thread killer ..
Another one with a great quote ~ “treat me like a Porn Star: keep me wet, keep me lubed, and keep me excited.”

It's very impressive when a woman has kids, a full time job, and can win the WS....what is my excuse?

The interview is really very impressive and interesting to read and we come to know a lot of unknown facts here.

Interesting interview, what a great runner. Interesting for me also that one year she finishes in 29 hours, the next in 19 (or so). Wow.

1) Bad genes - blame your parents.
2) Bad environment - blame your husband.
How's that?
Run for fun.

1) Well my Dad and his brother were top track stars in their day at Muskegon Catholic school, my Mother provided nothing. So I have half the gene.
2) I blame most my failings on him without him I could devote, do , spent, go you know the rest.
Thanks for the link.
