Brian Runner

    Congrats on the race Brian!

Thanks. I felt kind of out of place. But tomorrow its back to my comfort zone. Going back up to the Finger Lakes Trail tomorrow for what will likely be 20 to 30 miles. We did 25 on a different section of the trail last Sunday. What a beautiful trail. Not as much climbing as here in Pa, and in NY they have this thing we've never heard of in PA called a switch back, hehe.

Got in a great 15 miles or so with lots of elevation changed.  Started at about 10,500 went up to about 12,500 back down to 10,500 back up to 12,500 and then down to town 10,200. My flat lander legs are going to feel it tomorrow.

didn't pick up any runners to pace because the were so speed out and the few we saw already had pacers. But we were on-trail cheering on the runners in quite unusual spots.  I'll try to post some mountain/trail porn later. It was epic. ( Sorry FTYC).

      qotd:  I do 2 or 3 races a year. Typically a road 26.2, a 50 and a 100.

Travel to Leadville today. Walked around, bumped into Lace-up, watched some of the MTB race (which is run on the same course as the run). Jogged/hiked up the first hill in the wrong shoes. Really hard to tell how the altitude is affecting me, so I am focusing n my sore shin instead Wink Really interesting to be here.

I am not really a racer per se, but I do enjoy organized runs/rides. I follow racing somewhat, more running lately, less cycling.

          awesome pic.

Congrats to Seb and the course record.

          Rest day for me.
