Hey, nice job! What an amazing adventure, right? Something you'll never forget. Sounds like everything went really well for you, no stomach or body issues. I did the BA-NK-BA route this spring, and think I'd like to go back to do this shorter route next fall. Seems like the fall colors are really popping this time of year on the north rim. For those that asked about the parking, technically, you're not supposed to park along that road at the SK trailhead, but a lot of people do. To be safe, you can take a shuttle from the visitor center if the timing works. Or, you can use the Grand Canyon taxi service, which is a 24 hour service, which means you can leave at any time. It's $9 for the 1st person, and $3 for each additional to the SK trailhead from Bright Angel Lodge. That way, you could take SK down, and the BA trail up and finish at your lodge if you were staying there.
