Wondering if anyone knows of any trails near AC New Jersey? I will be content to run the boardwalk and/or beach early mornings but just in case there might be some trails, I needed to ask.
My favorite day of the week is RUNday
Check out the state forest just to the north of AC and west of Edwyn B. Forsythe NWR. I forget the name but the Pine Barrens are gorgeous at the right time.
Batona Trail rings a bell in my head but I am not 100%
Wharton Tract should be in that general area - depends on how far you want to drive. I think Loved the Pine Barrens when I was growing up - Scout camp was there. There's several other state forests and state parks in the area, but don't remember the trails for distances that well - plus it was almost 50 yr ago.
