    Faster Than Your Couch!

      Cracks me up!

At exactly 32 degrees, the people in our little town change from T-shirts, shorts and flip flops into heavy down jackets, scarfs, wool hats and furry boots.

      Fun to watch every year.

      Run for fun.

          Good stuff

Yup, it was 24F this morning. in our little town in Norcal. Scrapped frost off the windshield, saw people putting blankets on the horses. It is already 30 and will be 50 later, so it is weird.

One of my three daughters lives in North Pole, Alaska.

One day recently it was -41 - actual temperature, not wind chill.

I don't think she ran that day - I hope.

I sent her some Sporthill zone 3 running pants and a vest, plus an Airhole face bandana.

I would like her to survive.

The Sporthill clothes are just great - I just got a running shirt that is good for 40 degrees down to single digits with just the one layer.

If it was that cold I might throw a vest over it too.
