Where: Lake Perry, Meriden, Kansas
Weather: cool and windy
Goal: sub 2:30
Finish: 2:26:34
I ran my first half marathon of the year and my first trail race of the year. It also happened to be only my 2nd trail run of the year. It was a blast and I met my goal, I call it a success. If you want to read the full report and see the pictures, follow the below link. A warning, it is a long RR due to the pictures.

Always nice to beat your goal time. Thanks for the RR. Looks like a nice loop.
“Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!

Very nice. Must be satisfying to beat your goal time. I really dislike those conga lines. Trail congestion sucks.
My favorite day of the week is RUNday
AT-runner - It's actually a very nice loop with mostly runable hills.
Messenjah - Thanks! It's great to finally be back out there!
boyjame - Thanks! It definitely felt good. The conga lines frustrated me, but probably helped me a bit as well since I wasn't well trained for the race.
Faster Than Your Couch!
