Update: Got in three fairly perfect miles in the redwoods, and ran some steep hills I had been struggling with. Felt better than before this weekend's 50k (i.e. 50 mile DNF). That at least is a good sign.
It was foggy this morning, but I ran after work. No fog in the afternoon but it was 90*, damn hot.
