I suspect we'll see lace_up doing this race soon.  Big grin

BT survivor since 2003. Trail runner since 2009.

I think brain surgery stimulated my running nerve and made me into a trail runner. I'm grateful for both.

They have a 350 mile "short run" or the whole she-bang at 1100 miles.  The 2013 version is going on now.

One more of these great runs which capture my interest. If just the price wasn't so hefty...

I have thought about crossing the Atacama desert several years ago, but was thinking of hiking, not running (it was before I started running really long distances).

There's a European distance run that goes about 3,500 miles from somewhere in Scandinavia to Spain. An Austrian ran in last year.

Seems there are even crazier ultra runners out there than our fun bunch!

          Run for fun.

Wow. This looks fun. But I think I'd only want to do it as part of a group. I wouldn't feel comfortable attempting it on my own. But get me 2 or 3 like-minded individuals, enough money for the gear, training, airfare and race entry fee and I'm in.

I was reading through the link, thinking I should definitely do this. I'm already booked through 2014.

I think it would be awesome to live vicariously through you on this adventure!
