If so, look at the sky. If there are no clouds, you should see the waning moon, and the planet Jupiter right next to it. It is the brightest "star" next to the moon.

Not exactly spectacular, but certainly an interesting sight. Jupiter is closest to the moon tonight, before zooming off again.

    Run for fun.

No night run, but I did checkout the stars and moon the past few nights.

I waited until 9:15 and headed out. Moon rise was supposed to be 9:09 but it seemed to be later then that. I should have waited another half hour. It was nice. Clear with all the stars out and moderately cold. Some real nice scenery. The only disappointment was the local church did not have it's steeple light on last night. When it does it always makes for a very picturesque scene.

I love running at night in the winter where there is snow on the ground, especially if the moon is bright.

All night runs for me at this time of year. Unfortunately it's cloudy most of the time. Boo!
