Another nice Fun Run last night for 4.5 miles. This is the time of year when you need sunglasses at 5:30 pm and a headlamp at 6:15 pm.
The incoming rain warmed and humidified things and the breeze made me glad I wore my Merino wool longsleeve under my tech shirt.
That clothing choice had an unintended consequence. The Longsleeve is a camouflauge print, and at first glance all the folks at the running store thought I got full sleeve tattoos. Yeah, As-If!
Woke up to a drizzly wet morning. Plan to do a hill workout with the HM trail group then add some nighttime trail miles for a total of 8 miles tonight.
From my wardrobe, you would think my favorite color was dark blue.

Got in short TM run after work last night and 7 this am on the trails. No I'm getting ready to move some wood inside to prepare for ice/snow/rain or whatever we get tonight and tomorrow. That makes me think, I wonder if those Doomsday Preppers on TV do any cardio. You never see them showing off their Treadmills that they plan to use after the collapse of the American infrastructure.

“Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!

AT-runner - Good point. On those prepper shows they never talk about their fitness program. Like, how are they and their family going to hump 60 pounds of gear several miles when they look like they never get off the couch?

Late to the party again. This may be my new M.O. Rest day today--it is a lousy day here so I gladly let the weather dictate my off days. Weights and elliptical comin' up shortly.
I am tired--went to the Badger game last night after dinner and some brews with a friend. I had four free tickets and was actually able to sell off two of them at the Pub. Nice. Late game and then it went into double overtime. Very late by the time I got home. I'm too old for this howling at the moon stuff.
Heading north tomorrow afternoon so I will talk to you Monday.
QOTD- Queen took my normal answer (camo) Grrr. So today I'll say red/black plaid.

Me too...and longest (real) trail run ever. I'm finally getting the hang of running through/on/over the rockstrewn trails of PA.
My not-entirely-running-related 'Gram
Where in PA? I keep trying to organize some group runs but everyone always bails on me!
Pottstown, do most of my trail runs at french creek sp but would be up for going further to join a group run
OUCH!
Off to do some track work while the boy is in piano. It is so cold. I can hardly stand it- but I will survive.
Oh I was just teasing you Northern..

There is a real good trail running community in Berks County (in case you didn't know that)
