I have never finished a run and thought, "I wish I wouldn't have gotten out there." Today was no different. It ended up being 9 miles even; it was around 92, and the humidity was high, as usual. The last three miles were good because I looped by the house at six miles and doused myself in cold water. That put a spring in my step and I finished the last 3 mile loop quicker than the first 3 mile loop.

ran 7 on trails Sunday morning and It was markedly harder than I remember. It is tough running a course that I thought of as an easy run 3 months ago and had to walk sections I'd run without thinking.
I don't mind running in the dark. In the evening the Coast breeze has died down. Getting up in the dark is still tough though.
