Rocky and I got out on the trails just as the sun was going down, but there was enough light that I figured my eyes would adjust..... I made it back to the Tahoe around mile 3 to get my head lamp and head back out. 12 Degrees but it felt much colder, I didn't have my pepper spray and didn't really feel worried about it until I heard them.... a pack of coyotes not even 2 miles away from me and let me tell you I how I was feeling right then.... not comfortable. Luckily Rocky and I got our 6.3 miles in tonight with no issues and I saw somewhere between 50-70 individual deer out in the fields and a bunch in the woods.

mtwarden- I assume you know this, but if you're doing the Zion Traverse on 4/5, that's the same weekend as the Zion 100. You should swing by the race and say hello.
I didn't know that, I'll definitely swing by!
