My favorite day of the week is RUNday
This one is the Rim Trail looking at Marlette from the other direction ( North ) from near Snow Valley Peak . This entire section of the Rim Trail is run on the TRT course along with many other stunning views

Valerie, I love that run from Spooner Lake to Snow Valley Peak...they used to have a 1/2 Marathon that used to go to the top and back years ago...wonder what happened to it?
My favorite is The Meadows to Spooner . We did Spooner to Snow Valley Peak in Aug./Sept and there was an Endurance Ride going on, they came up from Carson I think . I haven't heard about the half-marathon . The Striders are talking about a new Fall Colors in 2013 that might go from Galena Creek Park area up to Mt Rose possibly @20 miles I think they are keeping the HM option too .
