This is a Waterfall on the trail to the Highcamp of Squaw Valley Ski resort. I snapped this while trudging up the Montrail Uphill Challenge...

In 6 months when you all are sick and tired of me complaining about the dark and the never ending rain, tell me to shut up and remind me of these pictures.
This was my last long run before I taper. And it's my first time running this trail. There is a race called the Alpine Adventure Run that I really wanted to do, but I'll be out of town. So it did it by myself today and then tacked on another 8 or so miles.
Also, enjoy.
The route goes like this: House to Cross Trail. Up Gavan Hill. Across the ridge. Up a few extra hills. Down Harbor Mountain. Back through the Benchlands. Quality time with my couch.
Those are amazing snowden....wow.
Eat to run, Run to eat
Thanks!! My shirt is wet from all the drooling I was doing...

Very nice, Snowden. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for bringing this thread up again. The snowy trail shots have me missing fairer weather.
Will run for scenery.
That is so gorgeous, and right on the edge of town by the looks of it.
I know you probably want to keep it secret, but where is that ?
Stupid feet!
Stupid elbow!

Very Nice Snowden. Apparently it is true. a Sunny day in AK is WORTH 2 weeks of rain!
Just spent 5 days in the Bridger Wilderness of Western Wyoming.
