Video Coyote Bushido (Read 43 times)

Ultra Cowboy

Put together by a group of runners in Southern CA.  i don't know how anyone could not want to run trails after watching...

    The Coyote Bushido

The Coyote Bushido (the way of the trail runner) is something we collectively discovered over the process of years of trail running. The samurai have their "way of being" and trail runners have our own distinct way. This isn't a comprehensive list by any means, but a representative sample of some of the main bullet points of what it is to be a trail runner.

That was great.  The whole video was full of nuggets of wisdom and some great trails.  I copied the "Rules" as I went:

      Health is Ground Zero

      1. Respect the Run

      2. Respect the Athlete

      3. Respect the Trails

      4. Remember where you Started

      5. Though shalt not Envy (another runner)

      6. Lead by Example

      7. The "All In" Mentality

      8. Have Fun (at all costs)

      9. Pedro'ing it (notes on finishing strong)

      10. There are many "eyes" in Team

I might go back and write the whole transcript.

      Really enjoyed that, thanks Rocky

It is a great video. All those wonderful trails... and some nice advice, not only for novices in the sport.

        Thanks for sharing.

So many good quotes.  Reminds me of many things John has said.

"Even a bad run is a part of a great day more often than not."

"If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong." (I really like this one....I think I am going to change my sig line Big grin)
