      Extremely sad and scary. I've been following this story for a few days, hoping she was just lost. It touches close to home since sounds like she was a fellow trail runner. And she had her big dog with her. I may need to get pepper spray now, which could help with all sorts of possibilities we might encounter out there. I hope she wasn't a RA forumite.
