I tried to make some dirty shoe porn today by doing 5 miles in the rain but my mostly rocky trails won't get my shoes that dirty. All I've got is some leaf litter and a few specks of grey mud on my grey shoes.

It's so friggin' cold here in MT, I decided to look through some photos from last spring in Kauai when my SO & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. The Nopali Coast Trail gets a little wet. When we got there, it became apparent that my shoes were going to become more of a hazard than a help. So I took them off & did the trail barefoot.
