Theory goes that during recovery from a long race our bodies sometimes have cravings during the first few days. I have had that very same thing after Saturday's road marathon, complete craving for Dormen's Spicy Peanuts, no rational explanation just my body "needed" soemthing in them, I'm cool with that just wish it was a craving for something a tad cheaper
Now I go to the main thrust of my post cravings
during
a run......the other day during a long run I really fancied a bottle of banana flavoured Nesquik, you know the one, in a plastic bottle with the foil top and used to be sold by the milkman. Thing is now I really fancy trying this out........anyone else had experience of drinking milk based products on an ultra/extreme run? It seems to have all the right stuff in it, monosaccharides, fat, vitamins etc
