As usual Jerry you have managed to remember the best part of 9hrs running and put it into words. Covers all the areas including my wobbly period (must do more training next time), must admit that it was a tough race in different ways, the first half with the underfoot conditions (mud, snow, water, all three combined etc) and the rain, then the never changing bleakness of the canal was mentally challenging. As usual it was great to run with you and George, and thanks for taking up the lead posistion and map reading duties, very difficult for the first half when your map is turning to mush before your very eyes. Also, please don't let George talk to me anymore about the 100miler, i nearly buckled a couple of times on Saturday when he was spinning me the yarn.

Great day out, let me know what your plans are for future events, although i am under fairly strict instructions from Mrs Immune not to do anything more than Mara distance until end of March.

No problems, I have similar instructions.

I said to Mrs S "Thank you for letting me out for the run" to which she replied "I don't know why you're thanking me, you would have done it any way"

George is currently milking me for my training plan for the coming weeks and no doubt will be trying to talk to me into the 100 miler. I was amused to hear him flailing around looking for some one to bite...
