Jerry, I think that we are both in for Faversham. Although, apparently, I didn't put enough postage on my application... Black eye Poor old Sid had to go and get it from the Post Office.

What was the secret, they wanted to know; in a thousand different ways they wanted to know The Secret. And not one of them was prepared, truly prepared to believe that it had not so much to do with chemicals and zippy mental tricks as with that most unprofound and sometimes heart-rending process of removing, molecule by molecule, the very tough rubber that comprised the bottoms of his training shoes. The Trial of Miles; Miles of Trials

Have you had confirmation as I have heard nothing so far?

I considered doing the Orpington thingy! Legs are still shot - almost 4 weeks after the race. Really struggling with the mileage this week. I might, just, be back to normal in time for Oxford.

Well. I'm all set now. One week to go.

Longest training run was 30 miles and 5 hours, June was a very heavy duty month but it's paid dividends. I can now run marathon distance+ in the evening with not alot of ill effects the next day.
