Anyone else looked at this, it gets a great write up in Oct or Nov 09 Runners World Magazine. I am quite interested as would give me the chance to go for 100miles as a Solo entry. Think this years event is 31st July / 1st August.
Any thoughts?
2011 Goals - Run 2 x 100+ mile races (16+17/04/11 London Mara x 4 - 22hrs8mins)
5K: Sub 19 (24/07/11 - Bushy Park 18:55)
10K: Sub 41 (19/03/11 40:50 - 2nd 10k of below race)
Half Mara: Sub 1:32 (19/03/11 Dorney Lake 1:26.50)
Mara: Sub 3:15 (on a road course)
Running for 24hr is stupid.

Wow...I have just fallen in love...I'll do it if #73 is doing again
I have seen this before and it was mentioned at my club but a few of them poo pooed it but that is because they were thinking of doing it as a big relay team. As for a one off for a 100 miles it looks a good challenge (and seems simple to get in)
The only thing that is putting me off on this is that it has a "macho man" feel to it and I hate all that stuff us ultra runners have humility donchaknow
