An experiment of one
I honestly don't know as there were more than one distance and everyone starting off at what ever time they fancied so towards the last 10km we were overtaking each other.
By the looks of the tables in the hall we were definitely in the top 15 of the order of about 50 + by no menas was it the fastest of any of our challenges as we stayed at indoor checkpoints for about 10 minutes each time to get soup and tea down our necks
....and on another point, we were stumbling down the last bit of the run and I looked up to find ourselves in well known territory of Edenbridge Golf Club then Skeynes Park......Have a look at p10 of the 2009 L2B map book.
We had been following Vanguard Way for a little while so it was just bizarre to find myself back on such hallowed turf
