Flynn,

Just had a quick perusal on the Halstead website and note your limit of 40 ultras. With regard to the request for recent Ultra/marathon history, I have only completed one ultra the Doyen in 5.28 but have done recent road marathons Hastings (3.44) and Dublin (3.53).

Would this be classed as qualifying criteria.

Thanks fella.

I really enjoyed it. Being my home race and the fact that I organise it makes it a totally different experience.

Celtic Tiger: Really sorry. I missed your post about this. You would have qualified. Next year the entry limit will be higher because we could easily have filled another 20 places.

We got a review over on http://www.ultrarunner.co.uk/index.php?page=39 as well.

I am running with CT tonight so will pass this on to him. I am pretty chuffed as I reckon I could have probably given you a run for your money on Sunday as I had a cracker of a marathon on Saturday (local charity race that we supported)

There were a few runners there that mentioned your race and were also doing it Shocked (100 marathon club Roll eyes )

I have a feeling Halstead is on the cards for next year so keep us informed.
