Janna, If I remember clearly, the book is kind of split into 3 parts. One, it may be the first, is kind of "a history of women's distance running" with coverage of some of the sports greats. Then it get's into the better part of the book, which covers the careers of two specific lady distance runners. So, be forwarned. You'll need to earn your way to the best part of the book, but working your way through the educational part. Bill
