well, I went faster than with the snow joke, but I think that's just because I wasn't running on snowy, icy roads. I totally forgot about this race until about 2 days before the event, so I really wasn't prepared for it. So considering that, I'm pretty happy with my results. I think I pushed myself a bit too hard though... I didn't hurt myself or anything, but I felt extremely sick all day after I ran, and didn't really recover until today. The snow joke was a lot of fun just because of the way the whole event was run, and because it was a "joke" of a race. I wish I was around to do that race again. This one was a lot more competitive, and I didn't really like that too much. I was also extremely cold the whole time because I was stupid and forgot my hat. It was probably my least favorite half marathon of the four that I have done, but still, not too bad.
